Job summary

MAC.BID in Monroeville, PA is seeking a Facility Floater to support warehouse operations. This full-time, hourly role reports to the Facility Team Lead and involves a variety of tasks across the department to keep processes running smoothly.

The ideal candidate is able to work on-site, lift up to 25 pounds (50 with assistance), stand and walk for long periods, and follow written directions. Prior warehouse experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Availability to work on-site. Schedules may vary Monday through Saturday, depending on location; 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift.
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Clear/gather, inventory, and sort pallets
• Clean warehouse and office spaces using a mop, broom, and vacuum
• Empty garbage and fill the dumpster according to vendor criteria
• Collect and bale cardboard
• Meet live trailers at the dock to unload quickly, avoiding retention fees
• Other tasks as assigned by management
