Job summary

Kids for the Future is seeking a Warehouse Operations Specialist responsible for storing and staging materials and equipment, and for the operational use, routine maintenance, and control of the company’s vehicle fleet. The role requires planning and organizing the warehouse layout for optimal use.

You will apply experience in inventory planning, coordinate forklift and truck maintenance, and collaborate with purchasing to forecast inventory needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of 4-cycle and 2-cycle engine theory.
• Knowledge of 4-cycle and 2-cycle engine repair.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record; valid driver’s license and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly truck inspections.
• Pick up/Deliver materials.
• Pick up/Deliver parts.
• Record equipment maintenance.
• Deliver trucks for routine maintenance and inspection.
• Record and update inventory in computer.
• Manage master inventory and storage.
• Receive and log all materials and store appropriately.
• Schedule forklift, truck maintenance, and refuels.
• Communicate with purchasing for anticipated ordering and forecasted inventory needed.
• Maintain building.
• Understand and exhibit safe work practices.
