Job summary

Stord is hiring a Facilities Associate to support the Facilities Manager and Operations team, ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient warehouse environment. You will perform maintenance tasks across production and facility equipment, read procedures, and collaborate with vendors and internal teams to keep lines running smoothly.

This role requires safety-focused behavior, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced distribution setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, with safety mindset.
• Knowledge of general warehouse safety and teamwork.
• Knowledge of basic hand and power tools; safe usage.
• Understanding of LOTO, PPE and related safety items.
• Willingness to be certified to operate PIT equipment.
• Willingness to operate maintenance equipment such as scissor lifts and work at height.

Responsibilities

• Keeps production and facility equipment in good working condition to support production needs.
• Works with downstream packaging equipment such as case packers and conveyors.
• Performs diagnostic evaluation and repairs on electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Reads and comprehends procedures and manuals for proper operation.
• Performs PMs and repairs with strong mechanical aptitude.
• Troubleshoots maintenance issues and adheres to safety procedures.
• Interacts with third-party facility and maintenance vendors.
• Self-manages and takes initiative to complete tasks.
