Position Summary

Old Dominion Mechanical isseeking a Warehouse & Facilities Manager to oversee warehouse operations,inventory, facilities, and fleet management. This position is responsible formaintaining an organized and efficient warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory,managing employees, coordinating fleet needs, and maintaining companyfacilities.

The Warehouse &Facilities Manager works closely with company leadership and other departmentsto ensure materials, equipment, vehicles, and facilities are available andmaintained to support daily operations.

Duties andResponsibilities

Warehouse & Inventory

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, includingreceiving, storing, picking, and distributing materials and equipment.
• Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluatewarehouse employees.
• Maintain accurate inventory through regularcounts and audits.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate materialneeds with other departments.
• Maintain an organized and efficient warehouselayout.
• Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments anddeliveries.
• Ensure warehouse equipment and materials areproperly maintained and secured.

Facilities Management

• Oversee the cleanliness, organization,maintenance, and security of company facilities.
• Conduct regular facility inspections and identifyrepair, maintenance, and safety needs.
• Maintain a prioritized list of facility repairsand coordinate completion.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors forfacility maintenance and repairs.
• Monitor facility needs and expenses and identifyopportunities to improve efficiency.

Fleet Management

• Oversee company vehicles and equipment to ensurethey are safe, properly maintained, and available for use.
• Maintain preventive maintenance schedules andcoordinate repairs and service.
• Monitor vehicle mileage, usage, maintenance, andrelated records.
• Coordinate vehicle inspections, registrations,and other fleet requirements.
• Maintain accurate fleet records anddocumentation.
• Help manage vehicle assignments, replacements,and disposal as needed.

Safety & Operations

• Conduct regular safety inspections and addressidentified concerns.
• Maintain accurate warehouse, facility, and fleetrecords.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency andreduce operating costs.
• Work with leadership and other departments toresolve operational issues.

Education and Experience

• Work may be performed indoors and outdoors invarying temperatures and weather conditions.
• May be exposed to moderate or high noise levels,dust, fumes, and airborne particles.
• May occasionally work in confined spaces or atelevated heights.

Physical Demands

• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Bend, stoop, kneel, climb, pull, push, and reachoverhead.
• Lift and carry materials and equipment weighingup to 50 pounds.
• Frequently use hands to handle, manipulate, orfeel objects, tools, equipment, and controls.
• Frequently reach with hands and arms.
• Perform other physical activities necessary tosafely perform the essential functions of the position.
