Job summary

ITS Logistics in York, PA is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform cleaning, repair and maintenance of buildings and grounds, and to load, unload, stock, and stage products using a sit-down forklift.

The role covers basic janitorial, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, glazier, masonry, painting, and grounds tasks, with emphasis on safety, preventative maintenance, and timely issue resolution. Starting rate is $24.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Loads, unloads, stocks, and stages products and materials.
• Operates sit-down forklifts with attachments and other power equipment (80% of shift).
• Performs maintenance tasks including painting, shelving, light fixtures, and cleanliness.
• Assists Safety Coordinator with safety inspections and repairs as required by OSHA.
• Performs preventive maintenance, inspection, repair, renovation and minor construction of buildings and utilities.
• Cleans sanitation lines and supports general grounds maintenance.
• Provides suggestions for process improvements and cost reductions.
