Job summary

Owens & Minor is seeking a Warehouse Associate for second/third shift to perform accurate picking and packing, verify outbound shipments, and process small parcels for shipment. The role emphasizes safety, adherence to procedures, and timely documentation of shipping records.

Overtime may apply, with a retention bonus opportunity described in the posting. The position requires handling LTL shipments, packing per SOPs, and maintaining clean work areas while using RF scanners and basic material

• Verify accuracy of shipments and packing.
• Handle shipping documents and LTL processes.

Responsibilities

• Places safety first and follows all procedures and policies.
• Ensures accuracy of receiving and shipping documents.
• Picks and verifies item numbers on Sales Orders by U/M, lot number, bin location and quantity.
• Stages orders in designated area and packs per SOPs.
• Verifies outbound LTL shipments are 100% accurate and undamaged.
• Loads and straps LTL shipments, completes trailer manifests.
• Pulls Sales Orders and BOL docs for shipping office; unloads trailers as needed.
