Salary: Starting at $15 / hour

Job Summary

The Seasonal Driver/Stock Person is responsible for picking up orders, stocking shelves, making deliveries, and driving warehouse vehicles for the purpose of supplying and servicing the Woods campus.

  • Set up orders for delivery. Follows schedule of orders to be picked-up, accurately picks-up orders, loads trucks with pending deliveries, and notifies supervisor of shortages.
  • Follows the pre-set delivery schedule to conduct deliveries; maintains a professional and customer service manner in conducting departmental business on campus.
  • Follows the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor in conducting all other tasks as assigned.
  • Operates and maintains all delivery and warehouse equipment in a safe manner. Assists in maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment.
  • Follows all established policies and procedures of the department.
  • Assists in conducting physical inventories when required. Counting and sub-dividing of bulk package units in distribution units.
  • Unpack items, divide packages, and stock shelves in the warehouse. Ensure proper rotation of stock when necessary.
  • Approximately 50 % of the workday involves lifting/moving heavy items.
  • Assist other Woods employees with order pick-ups or walk-in orders at the Central Stores Department.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • A High school diploma or equivalent is desired, not mandatory. Six months of related driving experience is preferred.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Must wear back support belts during work shifts.
  • Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions.
  • A Valid driver's license and a good driving record are required.
