Salary: Starting at $15 / hour

Job Summary

The Seasonal Driver/Stock Person is responsible for picking up orders, stocking shelves, making deliveries, and driving warehouse vehicles to supply and service the Woods campus.

  • Set up orders for delivery, follow schedule of orders to be picked-up, accurately pick-up orders, load trucks with pending deliveries, and notify supervisor of shortages.
  • Conduct deliveries following the pre-set schedule; maintain a professional and customer service-oriented manner on campus.
  • Follow the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor for all other tasks assigned.
  • Operate and maintain all delivery and warehouse equipment safely; assist in maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment.
  • Adhere to all department policies and procedures.
  • Assist in physical inventories as required, including counting and subdividing bulk packages.
  • Unpack items, divide packages, and stock shelves; ensure proper stock rotation.
  • Approximately 50% of work involves lifting/moving heavy items.
  • Assist other Woods employees with order pickups or walk-in orders at the Central Stores Department.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is desired but not mandatory.
  • Six months of related driving experience preferred.
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Must wear back support belts during shifts.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions.
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record required.
