Job summary

OmniMax International, LLC, located in Lancaster, PA, is seeking a Warehouse Driver/Receiver for a 1st shift on-site role. You will operate battery and propane forklifts to move materials, support receiving, and help maintain orderly storage and shipping areas.

The position starts at 7AM and runs to 3PM, with responsibilities including material handling and adherence to safety and quality standards. Applicants should have at least 12 months of relevant experience, strong basic arithmetic, good

• 12+ months of relevant warehouse experience.
• Ability to use basic arithmetic and follow manufacturing schedules.
• Good attendance and performance record.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered forklift trucks to move raw material, work in process, or finished product to and from storage areas or production centers.
• Perform material handling in areas such as punch press, roll forming, painting, warehouse, storage, shipping and receiving.
• Move coils and load onto carts or pallet decoilers as needed.
• Remove scrap and manage weights, dispose of waste and stack pallets safely.
• Cross-train in other areas such as Shipping as needed.
• Follow supervisor instructions and maintain equipment in a clean, orderly condition.

Requirements

• 12 or more months of relevant experience


• Ability to use ordinary arithmetic and manufacturing schedules


• Judgment is required to follow routing instructions, deliver and pick up of materials, load and unload trucks properly


• Good attendance and performance record

Duties and Responsibilities

A typical day may include

• Operate battery and propane powered and 4D and Crown and lift trucks to pick up and transport raw material, work in process or finished product to and from designated storage areas or production work centers


• Perform material handling assignments in punch press, roll forming, painting, valley, warehouse, storage, shipping and receiving areas


• Move aluminum, steel and copper coils from designated storage area to work centers and to storage area


• Coils to be loaded onto coil carts or pallet decoilers


• Responsible for the removal of scrap bins, weighting and recording scrap weights, removal and bailing of cardboard, and removal/supplying of wooden pallets


• Flexibility to be cross trained in other areas, i.e., Shipping


• Receive direction from supervisor, follow standard procedures and practices and written/verbal instructions


• Detect and report faulty operation of equipment and report same to supervisor


• Provide for normal operating maintenance of equipment used and keep in a clean and orderly condition


• Follow established policies, practices and procedures to ensure product quality, continuous improvement and regulatory compliance


• Unloading truck and verifying the load


• Managing trucks according to appt times


• Putting away the unloaded product/metal


• Managing overflow of any product on dock or in trailers


• Full Time
