Job summary

TK Elevator is seeking an experienced Warehouse Driver in Miami, FL. The role involves maintenance and delivery of parts, supplies, and equipment to job sites in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner.

The position includes loading, unloading, inventory control, and occasional forklift operation. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent), a valid driver’s license, and DOT certification where required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required; or 1–3 months related experience or training; or equivalent education/experience.
• Motor vehicle license in good standing is required.
• DOT certification may be required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Operates company vehicles to make deliveries and pickups.
• Assists loading/unloading and moves materials within the warehouse; may operate a forklift.
• Unloads equipment and supplies at job sites and keeps crews stocked with materials.
• Maintains warehouse inventory and tools; handles shipping/receiving as assigned.
• Maintains the upkeep of warehouse and grounds; arranges vehicle servicing.
• Ensures safe, timely, and cost-effective deliveries.

Job description

TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Driver in Miami, FL. Responsible for the maintenance and delivery of parts, supplies and equipment to job sites in a safe, timely and cost effective manner.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Operates company vehicles, including vans, trucks, stake body trucks, and pick-up trucks to make assigned deliveries and pickups.
• Assists in the loading, unloading and moving of materials and supplies within the warehouse area; operates a fork lift to move heavy material and physically lifts materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Unloads equipment, parts and supplies at job sites and keeps crews supplied with necessary materials.
• Maintains inventory in the storage areas of the warehouse. Includes maintaining an inventory of special tools.
• Performs shipping and receiving functions as assigned.
• Maintains the upkeep of the warehouse and grounds.
• Arranges for the upkeep and servicing of company vehicles.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED (general education degree); or one to three months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Motor vehicle license in good standing
• Department of Transportation certification, where required
