T.G. Lee Dairy in Orlando, FL is hiring a dependable Warehouse Driver (CDL required) to move and position trucks, perform pre/post trip inspections, and help keep the yard organized. The role includes loading/unloading at docks and maintaining logs in compliance with DFA and DOT guidelines.

This position offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 9:30am to 5:00pm, with competitive pay of $22.50 per hour and comprehensive benefits. Growth opportunities exist within our dairy farming family environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• CDL license (Class B with Air Brake preferred; Class A preferred) is required.
• Must meet all DOT requirements and have a clean MVR as applicable.
• Ability to read, write and speak English; good math for load calculations.

Responsibilities

• Drive straight or pup trucks to move, position, or park for shipping/receiving.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections and maintenance as needed.
• Maintain neat yard and accurate truck/inventory movement logs.
• Complete sales route deliveries as needed and adhere to DFA/DOT policies.
• Communicate clearly and work well with others in a team.

Job description

T.G. Lee Dairy has immediate job openings for dependable Warehouse Driver (CDL required).

Warehouse Driver drives a straight truck or pup truck at vehicle parking, yard or docking areas to move, position or park trucks to facilitate shipping and receiving functions. Transport trucks for repairs, as necessary, according to policies and procedures and safety protocols. May also operate wash bay using all necessary equipment to clean trucks. Keep the yard neat and orderly.

• Perform truck movement according to prioritization to optimize plant or warehouse efficiencies and production needs
• Move trucks to and from the service department and around dock area
• Spot or position loaded and unloaded trucks at assigned dock space for unloading or loading
• Maintain accurate truck and inventory movement log
• Follow steps to ensure proper operation and perform periodic preventive maintenance including pre and post trip inspections of equipment in the area
• Perform duties required to ensure that assigned area is sanitary and clean
• Wash exterior and interior of trucks if appropriate for yard location
• Complete sales route deliveries, as needed
• Adhere to all DFA Quality, Safety, DOT, and GMP policies and procedures and report any nonconformity and accidents and injuries
• Attend all driver workshops and training sessions

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Straight truck or pup truck experience, within the last five years preferred
• Must meet minimum age requirements
• Meet all DOT requirements
• Meet Dairy Farmers of America Motor Vehicle Record requirements
• Certification and/or License - Current CDL (Class B/Class B with Air Brake but Class A is preferred) license in state of residence
• Understanding of DOT transportation regulations related to lawful operation
