Job summary

Tireco, Inc in Columbia, SC is seeking a Warehouse/Driver to join our team. You will handle warehouse duties, pick orders, load/unload trucks, and assist with deliveries using a company vehicle while delivering friendly, professional service.

The role combines hands-on warehouse work (90%) with occasional tire and wheel deliveries. Candidates must have a valid license, meet DOT requirements, and be able to lift 30–80 lbs with safe operation of a forklift.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid standard driver’s license; some states may require a Class D license.
• Meet DOT requirements; pass drug test and DOT physical; be at least 21 years old; cross state lines for deliveries as needed.
• Ability to be insured under company driving policy and operate a forklift safely.

Responsibilities

• Warehouse duties: picking orders, loading and unloading trucks, shipping and receiving, forklift operation.

Salary Range: $17.00 - $20.50 Hourly

JOB TITLE: Warehouse/Driver

As a Warehouse/Driver for Tireco Distributors (TD), you will be the face of our company and on the front lines delivering the essential products that keep our country rolling. You will be responsible for warehouse duties such as picking orders, loading and unloading trucks, shipping and receiving, and operating equipment such as a forklift. Although you will be in the warehouse 90% of the time, you will also assist in safely delivering tires and wheels using a company vehicle while providing friendly and professional customer service, loading and unloading product, collecting payments, managing product returns, and maintaining your assigned vehicle.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Possess a valid standard regular driver’s license, some states may require a Class D license – No CDL required
• Meet requirements for DOT compliance; pass drug test and DOT physical, be at least 21 years, eligible and willing to cross state lines for deliveries as required
• Ability to be insured under company driving policy.
• Ability to safely operate a company vehicle and a forklift.
• Ability to manually move tires between 30 – 80 lbs daily. 80lbs+ requires a team lift.
