Job summary

R.E. Michel Company is looking for a Warehouse/Driver in Williamsport, PA to safely operate equipment, deliver orders, and provide excellent customer service.

The role requires maintaining a clean driving record and following DOT regulations in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. You will work Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays, gain exposure to HVACR products, and use Prophet 21 software for processing orders and invoices.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of Heating and Cooling systems preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to read and understand invoices and product descriptions.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

• Safely operate material handling equipment and vehicles to fulfill orders and make deliveries to customer locations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by promptly and accurately servicing customer needs.
• Maintain a satisfactory driving record and adhere to DOT regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient branch operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of Heating and Cooling systems preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Proficiency in computer operations and Prophet 21 software.
• Ability to read and understand invoices and product descriptions.
• Must be 18 years of age to operate a forklift.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and satisfactory5-year driving record.
• Ability to pass required DOT physical and operate a forklift (must be at least 18 years old).
• Flexibility to work Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays.

Work Environment:

Join a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. Expect a dynamic atmosphere with occasional exposure to extreme temperatures. Safety is paramount in this role, which may require physical exertion, including bending, climbing, and lifting. This is a safety sensitive position.
