R.E. Michel Company, Vienna, WV, is hiring for a Warehouse/Driver to join our branch team.

The role involves operating material handling equipment and vehicles to fulfill orders and deliver to customer locations, while delivering strong service and adhering to DOT requirements. You will collaborate with colleagues to keep branch operations running smoothly, maintain a clean driving record, and perform duties in a fast-paced environment with temperature exposure.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license and a satisfactory 5-year driving record.
• Ability to pass required DOT physical and operate a forklift (must be 18+).
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to read and understand invoices and product descriptions.

Reports To: Branch Manager

What You'll Do:

• Safely operate material handling equipment and vehicles to fulfill orders and make deliveries to customer locations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by promptly and accurately servicing customer needs.
• Maintain a satisfactory driving record and adhere to DOT regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient branch operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of Heating and Cooling systems preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Proficiency in computer operations and Prophet 21 software.
• Ability to read and understand invoices and product descriptions.
• Must be 18 years of age to operate a forklift.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and satisfactory5-year driving record.
• Ability to pass required DOT physical and operate a forklift (must be at least 18 years old).
• Flexibility to work Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays.

Work Environment:

Join a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. Expect a dynamic atmosphere with occasional exposure to extreme temperatures. Safety is paramount in this role, which may require physical exertion, including bending, climbing, and lifting. This is a safety sensitive position.
