R.E. Michel Company is seeking a Warehouse/Driver in Lynchburg, VA.

The role involves safely operating material handling equipment and vehicles to fulfill orders and deliver to customer locations, while delivering excellent customer service. Candidates must have a valid driver's license with a clean 5-year driving record, be at least 18 to operate a forklift, pass DOT physical, and be able to work Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays.

Contract: Full Time/Non-Exempt

Location: Lynchburg, VA

Reports To: Branch Manager

What You’ll Do

• Safely operate material handling equipment and vehicles to fulfill orders and make deliveries to customer locations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by promptly and accurately servicing customer needs.
• Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to DOT regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient branch operations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic understanding of Heating and Cooling systems preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Proficiency in computer operations and Prophet 21 software.
• Ability to read and understand invoices and product descriptions.
• Must be 18 years of age to operate a forklift.

Work Environment
