What you'll do :

• Receive and unload incoming material and compare information on packing slips with purchase orders to verify accuracy of shipment
• Sort, count, package, label, and unpack inventory that is received
• Inspect shipments for damages, loss, or defects
• Operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift in loading and unloading material and equipment
• Stock shelves in the warehouse
• Pull spools/materials and distribute them to their designated area
• Prepare orders for shipment in accordance with the pick ticket and customer requirements
• Package and ship in accordance with packaging guidelines and accepted methods/practices
• Provide accurate reporting on receipt of materials and distribution of purchased items
• Travel to other markets may be required for delivery/pick up of materials

Who we are looking for:

• At least 18 years old
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company
• Have a valid Class A CDL preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of DOT Box Truck driving experience
• Experience within the warehousing/inventory industry (preferred)
• Forklift experience (preferred)
• Basic knowledge of and ability to operate various types of utility trucks and equipment in a safe manner
• Basic knowledge of and ability to use hand tools and equipment in a safe manner
• Basic computer and mathematical skills (required)
• Able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes, weighing up to 50 to 100 pounds 75% of the time
• Able to climb up and down ladders, scaffolds and other objects with variable heights
• Maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all regulations and policies
• Able to communicate effectively with customers, employees, etc.
• Able to work as needed (over-time, after hours, on weekends, for emergencies or on-call)
• Able to maintain a safe work environment. You are able to work in all weather conditions
