To assist in the operation of the warehouse to ensure efficiency in the acquisition, storage, and distribution of District supplies.
- This position has been classified as Safety Sensitive in accordance with the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act and/or the Department of Transportation (DOT), and Board Policy G-37-R3 Medical Marijuana & Safety Sensitive Positions Regulation. All candidates selected for hire or transfer into a Safety Sensitive position must undergo and pass a pre-employment drug screen before being hired or transferred. Employees holding safety-sensitive positions may be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment, if they test positive for marijuana components or metabolites, even if they possess a medical marijuana license.
- Takes inventory and exercises good judgment to determine if goods are in satisfactory condition for acceptance.
- Assists shipping and receiving with unloading trucks, opening bales, crates, and other containers as needed, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders, and distributing to associates for processing. Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program.
- Matches purchase orders to sales orders, reads customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions, and assembles orders including placing on pallets or shelves, relocating to holding or shipping area for distribution.
- Sorts, marks with identifying information, and places inventory on racks, shelves, or bins according to warehouse process.
- Files requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to shipping or to designated route driver storage area.
- Ensures warehouse is accessible and safe for all individuals.
- Drives to pick up and deliver items utilizing District vehicles as required.
- Ensures warehouse and work areas are accessible, clean, organized, and safe. Sweeps, dusts, and mops. Organizes warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
- Promotes the overall effectiveness of the organization by performing tasks and sharing responsibilities of other members of the Department during peak periods or when there is an overload of duties.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year warehouse experience
- Must have a valid Oklahoma CDL with Air Brake Endorsement
- Must be forklift certified or willing to obtain certification within six months of hire
- Ability to operate two-wheeler
- Drive in a safe and legal manner
- Observe all City, State, and Federal Laws
- Ability to understand invoices and similar documents
- Communicates effectively and courteously with other employees and the public
- Wears proper safety equipment
