R.E. Michel Company is seeking a Warehouse/Driver in Raleigh, NC for full-time, non-exempt work reporting to the Branch Manager. You will safely operate forklifts and other equipment, fulfill orders, and deliver to customer locations while ensuring excellent service and DOT compliance.

This role requires a valid license, a clean five-year driving record, and the ability to pass a DOT physical. Proficiency with Prophet 21 and basic HVACR knowledge are preferred traits.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and a satisfactory five-year driving record.
• Ability to pass required DOT physical.
• Forklift operation capability; must be 18+ years old.
• Basic HVACR knowledge preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication and a positive attitude.
• Proficiency in computer operations and Prophet 21 software.

Job Title: Warehouse/Driver
Full Time / Non-Exempt

What You'll Do:

• Safely operate material handling equipment and vehicles to fulfill orders and make deliveries to customer locations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by promptly and accurately servicing customer needs.
• Maintain a satisfactory driving record and adhere to DOT regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient branch operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of Heating and Cooling systems preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Proficiency in computer operations and Prophet 21 software.
• Ability to read and understand invoices and product descriptions.
• Must be 18 years of age to operate a forklift.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and satisfactory5-year driving record.
• Ability to pass required DOT physical and operate a forklift (must be at least 18 years old).
• Flexibility to work Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays.

Work Environment:

Join a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. Expect a dynamic atmosphere with occasional exposure to extreme temperatures. Safety is paramount in this role, which may require physical exertion, including bending, climbing, and lifting. This is a safety sensitive position.

Successful completion of pre-employment screens is required and must be 18 years of age to operate forklift.
