Job summary

R.E. Michel Company, LLC seeks a full-time Warehouse/Driver in Pomona, CA. This role involves safely operating equipment to fulfill orders and delivering to customer locations, while ensuring excellent customer service and compliance with DOT regulations.

The position reports to the Branch Manager and requires willingness to work Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays. Applicants should have basic HVACR knowledge, strong communication, and be comfortable with Prophet 21 software.

What You'll Do:

• Safely operate material handling equipment and vehicles to fulfill orders and make deliveries to customer locations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by promptly and accurately servicing customer needs.
• Maintain a satisfactory driving record and adhere to DOT regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient branch operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of Heating and Cooling systems preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Proficiency in computer operations and Prophet 21 software.
• Ability to read and understand invoices and product descriptions.
• Must be 18 years of age to operate a forklift.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and satisfactory 5-year driving record.
• Ability to pass required DOT physical and operate a forklift (must be at least 18 years old).
• Flexibility to work Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays.

Safety is paramount in this role, which may require physical exertion, including bending, climbing, and lifting. This is a safety sensitive position.
