Job summary

American Refrigeration Supplies, Inc. in Las Vegas, NV is hiring a Warehouse Driver to support our HVAC parts distribution. You will deliver parts, load and unload trucks, and follow safety procedures.

You’ll work Mon-Fri, typically 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, with a focus on accuracy, timely deliveries, and maintaining a clean, organized warehouse. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a High School Diploma is required.
• 1–2 years warehouse experience in a high-volume HVAC wholesale environment is preferred.
• Pre-employment drug screen is required.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Clean Motor Vehicle/Driving Record.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Computer knowledge including MS Office applications.
• Basic typing/10-key skills.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Deliver HVAC parts to customers and verify items on the truck.
• Follow supervisors’ directions to follow routes and delivery instructions.
• Complete daily vehicle maintenance inspections.
• Ensure adequate fuel and use gas card as needed.
• Assist in loading and unloading of trucks.
• Report order issues or shorts to the Manager.
• Inspect inventory for pick-list accuracy.
• Keep the warehouse organized and clean at shift end.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and counter areas.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely after training.
• Adhere to PWM (Preferred Work Methods) and safety procedures.
• Wear proper PPE.
• Accept additional duties as assigned by Manager.

Salary Range: $18.00 - $20.00 Hourly

American Refrigeration Supplies, Inc. is a wholesale distributor of A/C and heating equipment, accessories and supplies and has been serving our customers for 85 years.

This position is full-time Monday - Friday (typically 8:00 am - 5:00 pm)

About the Position

As a Warehouse Driver you will be responsible for providing excellent service within ARS Warehouse ensuring work is completed in a timely manner meeting the ARS Workflow to the best of your ability while maintaining a positive and friendly demeanor.

• Deliver HVAC parts to customers; ensuring all items on truck
• Follow supervisors’ directions to ensure following correct routes and delivery instructions
• Complete daily Vehicle Maintenance Inspections
• Verify vehicle has sufficient fuel, use gas card for fueling as needed
• Assist in loading and unloading of all trucks
• Report any order issues or shorts to Manager
• Quality control on all items going out for delivery:
  • Inspection of all inventory ensuring accuracy of pick list
• Ensure warehouse is in proper order (clean, debris picked up, forklifts in proper charging area etc.) before the end of each shift
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and counter areas
• Safe operation of forklifts and pallet jacks (after training)
• Follow the PWM’s (Preferred Work Methods) for warehouse
• Ensure all Safety Procedures followed
• Wears proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Additional duties as assigned by Manager
