Job summary

Qualifications

• 1–2 years warehouse experience in a high-volume HVAC wholesale environment preferred.
• High School Diploma preferred.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills.
• Computer knowledge including MS Office applications.
• Basic typing/10-key skills.
• Must be 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Stock HVAC parts in the warehouse and ensure items are in correct bin locations.
• Follow supervisor directions to ensure accurate stocking and put-away.
• Report inventory discrepancies to the Manager.
• Inspect outgoing inventory against pick lists for accuracy.
• Perform housekeeping to keep the warehouse clean and orderly.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely (after training).
• Adhere to PWM (Preferred Work Methods) and safety procedures.
• Wear appropriate PPE and comply with safety rules.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager.

Job Details: Job Location: Phoenix, AZ 85040, Salary Range: $20.00 - $22.00 Hourly, American Refrigeration Supplies, Inc. is a wholesale distributor of A/C and heating equipment, accessories and supplies and has been serving our customers for 85 years. We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Warehouse General to join our team at our Phoenix Distribution Center. This position is full-time (typically 7:00 am - 4:00 pm)

About the position:

• Stock HVAC parts in warehouse; ensuring all items are in correct bin location
• Follow supervisors’ directions to ensure following accurate stocking/product put away
• Report any inventory discrepancies to Manager
• Quality control on all items going out on orders:
  • Inspection of all outgoing inventory ensuring accuracy by checking against pick list
• Ensure warehouse is in proper order by completing housekeeping tasks (clean, debris picked up, etc.) before the end of each shift
• Clean and tidy workstation
• Safe operation of forklifts and pallet jacks (after training)
• Follow the PWM’s (Preferred Work Methods) for warehouse
• Ensure all Safety Procedures followed
• Wears proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Other duties as assigned by Manager
