Job description

A Duie Pyle is seeking an experienced full-time Warehouse Class A Truck Driver in Gastonia, NC. This position pays $26.00 per hour. You will be driving a day cab tractor pulling a 53’ trailer to various Pyle locations.

Why Pyle?

• Home daily, Tuesday through Saturday; 10:30 AM start time
• Will work in the warehouse when not driving
• Weekly pay (every Friday) via direct deposit

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Performing general warehouse tasks, including loading and unloading trailers
• Completing deliveries and pickups at various locations
• Performing lift gate deliveries, including unloading and loading at stops as needed
• Ensuring the security and safety of the tractor and freight; adhering to FMCSA safety regulations
• Completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
• Hazmat required to start; Tanker endorsement(s) willingness to obtain within 90 days
• Minimum 1 year of recent tractor-trailer experience
• Current or willing to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
• At least 21 years old
• No more than three moving violations or accidents in the last three years, subject to review
• Effective communication skills; able to read, write, and speak English
• Ability to obtain and maintain TSA security clearance
