Company Overview:

Consolidated Pipe & Supply is a full line supplier, fabricator, and manufacturer of pipe, valve, and fitting products and services to the natural gas, waterworks, energy, and industrial sectors.

Summary:

The employee in this position will be responsible for making local deliveries using our warehouse vehicle, daily, between multiple locations. Ability to lift at least 25 pounds is required. Work environment includes company vehicle, warehouse, plant, or production areas, with periods of driving/sitting and occasional standing or walking. Reading and understanding written information is required. Forklift experience is a plus but not required. A clean driving record and medical card are mandatory. Pre-employment drug screening will be conducted after an offer is made.

Preferences:

• Class A CDL preferred.
• Experience in water/sewer utilities is a plus.

Job Functions:

• Follow safety rules and work procedures.
• Prepare receipts for loads and maintain truck logs per regulations.
• Maintain contact with supervisor for delivery instructions.
• Secure cargo during transit.
• Load/unload trucks, inspect truck equipment, and perform minor roadside repairs.
• Clean work area or vehicle.
• Perform other duties as needed.
