Job Description:

Operates gasoline-, liquefied gas-, or electric-powered industrial equipment equipped with lifting devices, such as sit-down, stand-up, clamp or other elevating equipment to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials in distribution center or storage yard.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED; three or more years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain equipment certifications (e.g., OSHA, company, etc.).
  • Must be able to wear personal protective equipment appropriate for the work environment (e.g., footwear, eyewear, gloves) in accordance with safety policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using powered industrial equipment.
  • Maintain equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
  • Inspect assigned equipment daily.
  • Operate all equipment safely and efficiently following prescribed work methods and OSHA standards.
  • Unload inbound shipments safely and move products to storage locations.
  • Stack and store products efficiently.
  • Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring accuracy.
  • Move products into rail cars, trailers, or containers.
  • Ensure shipments are accurate and undamaged; report variances.
  • Keep records and assist in inventories.
  • Follow customer and other instructions for accuracy and safety.
  • Coordinate with other departments as needed.
  • Perform housekeeping and report unsafe conditions.
  • Follow safety rules and report noncompliance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 5am - 3:30pm, with OT on Fridays as needed. Pay: $18.50/hour.
