R.E. Michel Company in Akron, OH is hiring a Warehouse/Driver for a full-time, non-exempt role. You will operate material handling equipment and vehicles to fulfill orders, deliver to customer locations, and provide excellent service while maintaining safety and a clean driving record.

The position requires a valid driver's license, the ability to pass a DOT physical, and forklift operation (18+). Weekend/Saturday coverage may be required, with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and a satisfactory 5-year driving record.
• Ability to pass required DOT physical and operate a forklift (must be at least 18 years old).
• Flexibility to work Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays.
• Must be 18 years of age to operate a forklift.
• Basic understanding of Heating and Cooling systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate material handling equipment and vehicles to fulfill orders and make deliveries to customer locations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by promptly and accurately servicing customer needs.
• Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to DOT regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient branch operations.

What You'll Do:

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of Heating and Cooling systems preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Proficiency in computer operations and Prophet 21 software.
• Ability to read and understand invoices and product descriptions.
• Must be 18 years of age to operate a forklift.
