Job summary

Estes Forwarding Worldwide (EFW) is seeking a Dockworker, Warehousing to join our team in Joliet. You will unload, sort, handle, and load freight with care, operate forklifts as authorized, and follow work orders and safety rules to ensure accurate shipments.

You will use the warehouse management system and cooperate with a team in a fast-paced setting. A high school diploma and ability to pass background/drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of experience preferred.
• Forklift certification is preferred.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background checks.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Unload, sort, handle, and load freight safely and efficiently.
• Operate forklifts or pallet jacks as authorized.
• Read work orders and follow instructions to determine assignments.
• Maintain accurate records for shipments and inventory.
• Work with WMS and other software to track inventory and documentation.
• Support safety procedures and company policies.
