Job summary

McCormick & Company, Incorporated is seeking Distribution Technicians for the Maryland Logistics Center in Sparrows Point, MD. The role involves picking/packing, operating pallet jacks and RF scanners, and maintaining inventory accuracy.

The position reports to the Warehouse Team Manager and requires flexibility for weekend shifts, overtime, and the ability to lift heavy loads in varying temperatures. McCormick offers a comprehensive benefits package and a $500 bonus after six months.

Qualifications

• Accurate clerical and numerical skills and ability to read and follow procedures.
• Ability to learn and operate equipment including motorized pallet jack and charging system.
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends and holidays as required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more repeatedly and work in varying temperatures.
• Proficiency with SAP inventory system and basic PC skills.

Responsibilities

• Pick/pack/stage orders using RF scanner and vehicle-mounted computer.
• Operate pallet jacks, wrappers, and other warehouse equipment as needed.
• Record safety, quality and performance data and maintain inventories.
• Perform general warehouse duties including sanitation and audits.
• Attend startup and team meetings and participate in special projects.
