Job summary

McCormick & Company, Inc. is seeking full-time Distribution Technicians for its Maryland Logistics Center in Sparrows Point, MD.

The role requires strong work ethic, technical skills, and teamwork to pick/pack and stage customer orders using RF scanners and VMC, while operating material handling equipment. The position offers a 2nd shift (2PM-10PM) with a 6% shift differential and a $500 bonus after six months, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Accurate clerical and numerical skills and ability to follow complex procedures.
• Ability to learn to operate equipment including motorized pallet jack and battery charging system.
• Willingness to work overtime weekends and holidays as required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more repeatedly.
• Capable of working in variable temperatures on-site and off-site.
• Familiarity with SAP inventory program and McCormick job aids.

Responsibilities

• Pick/pack/stage all customer orders using RF scanner and VMC.
• Operate a variety of industrial equipment including pallet jacks, wrappers, and related devices.
• Use a computerized inventory system and document safety, quality, and performance standards.
• Perform general warehouse duties including sanitation, training, and audits.
• Attend startup and team meetings and participate in special projects.
