Job summary

Acadian Crossing is seeking a Distribution Operations Manager to lead the distribution center floor, ensure lean operations, and meet customer expectations. You will supervise floor employees, drive efficiency, and collaborate with the DC Manager and HR to optimize staffing and budgets.

You will oversee inventory, safety compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives while coordinating with QA and other departments to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in supply chain with extensive distribution/warehousing experience.
• Minimum 5 years in supply chain, preferably in distribution/warehousing.
• Experience overseeing budgets and accountability.
• Strong adaptability and judgment under pressure.
• Excellent verbal, written and listening communication; ability to lead and influence.

Responsibilities

• Lead distribution center operations on the floor, ensuring lean operations and space optimization.
• Manage staffing objectives: hiring, orientation, scheduling, coaching, and performance issues.
• Coordinate with DC Manager and HR to resolve employee relations and optimize labor planning.
• Ensure safety, OSHA and FDA standards, and maintain equipment and maintenance plans.
• Drive cost savings and monitor budgets, expenditures, and variances with accuracy.
• Oversee inventory controls, data integrity in ERP, daily counts, and reporting.
• Collaborate with QA on product issues and coordinate with other departments for accuracy.
