Responsibilities include cycle counts by item class, operating material handling equipment, and using internal reports to identify trends and drive improvements under a culture of lean action. Training and leadership duties are possible.

We are currently seeking for a Warehouse Operator to support our Shakopee locations.
Job Purpose: To contribute to the success of our customers by receiving, moving, picking and shipping materials and products in a safe and timely manner.
Job Responsibilities And Duties
Perform Warehouse and Distribution duties at an expert level.

• Receive Materials in a safe and organized manner, accurately and efficiently.
• Move and Store Materials in a safe and organized manner, accurately and efficiently.
• Pick Materials in a safe and organized manner, accurately and efficiently.
• Ship and Distribute Materials in a safe and organized manner, accurately and efficiently.
• Audit existing Materials in a safe and organized manner, accurately and efficiently.
• Cycle count all "A" items quarterly
• Cycle count all "B" items semi-annually
• Cycle count all "C" items annually
• Operate all material handling equipment safely and efficiently.

• Teach and direct others to become expert at warehouse and distribution.
• Teach receiving of materials in a safe and organized manner, accurately and efficiently.
• Teach moving/storing of materials in a safe and organized manner, accurately and efficiently.
• Teach picking of materials in a safe and organized manner, accurately and efficiently.
• Teach shipping/distribution of materials in a safe and organized manner, accurately and efficiently.
• Teach Auditing of existing materials in a safe and organized manner, accurately and efficiently.
• Cycle count all "A" items quarterly
• Cycle count all "B" items semi-annually
• Cycle count all "C" items annually
• Operate all material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Use the internal reporting software to produce reports that lead to improved results.
• Utilize reports to identify trends that determine progress and opportunity for improvement.
• Devise specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, track‑able goals for improving individuals
• Understand and maintain a culture of "lean action" within the department so that we live lean better than any organization.
• Implement and maintain standards and processes that eliminate waste throughout the department.
• Apply and utilize "lean tools" to permanently implement improvements.
• Institutionalize 5-S in all aspects of the department. (Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain)
• Perform other work as assigned.

Salary: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
