Job summary

Cottonwood-Oak Creek Elementary School District is seeking a Warehouse Technician to support district operations with warehouse, inventory, and dispatch duties. This role ensures smooth material flow, timely communication across departments, and contributes to safe, clean school facilities.

The position reports to the Director of Maintenance and Facilities, runs 8:00am–4:30pm, and is a 12-month, non-exempt role with a starting wage of $16.35–$17.25 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Arizona driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification (training provided by district).
• Ability to pass background check and any required district/federal screenings.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 100 pounds regularly and perform manual labor tasks.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments according to district procedures.
• Pick, pack, and deliver orders to school sites and district departments.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using district inventory systems.
• Organize and maintain warehouse storage areas, ensuring safe, clean, and accessible conditions.
• Coordinate surplus collection, storage, and disposal following district guidelines.
