Job summary

Thyssenkrupp Materials NA, Inc. is hiring for 1st shift to troubleshoot inventory issues on the warehouse floor. Duties include reviewing PGI/LX03/LL01, leading daily shift meetings, and guiding material handlers and operators to correct material movement.

The role involves performing corrective actions from a checklist, approving inventory adjustments under 50 lbs, and ensuring safety around heavy machinery. Bachelor’s degree preferred; 2–3 years supervisory experience desirable.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Warehouse experience that includes forklift, packing, measuring, and inventory.
  • Basic math and reading skills.
  • Must have basic computer skills.
  • Interpersonal skills to communicate with plant manager, sales staff, and warehouse personnel.
  • Ability to understand equipment and tolerances.
  • Safety Mindset.
  • 2-3 years supervisory experience in a related field (preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of metals handled in regard to proper staging, processing, packaging, and shipping.
  • First aid and CPR training; exposure to safety programs, ISO standards, and Lean practices.

Responsibilities
