Qualifications

  • Previous leadership experience supervising and training warehouse associates and hourly employees
  • Strong knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and warehouse operations
  • Experience managing productivity, safety, employee performance, and workflow in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong computer, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in manufacturing, distribution, or high-volume warehouse environments preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
  • Supervise, train, coach, and develop warehouse personnel to ensure productivity and efficiency goals are met
  • Monitor workflow and staffing levels to support customer demands and production schedules
  • Ensure accurate receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipment of materials and finished goods
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through proper tracking, auditing, and inventory control procedures
  • Enforce company safety policies and OSHA standards to maintain a safe work environment
  • Coordinate with operations, production, and transportation teams to ensure efficient material flow
  • Evaluate employee performance, provide feedback, and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes, productivity, quality, and cost efficiency
  • Prepare reports and maintain operational records as required

Education Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Business, or related field preferred
Experience Requirements

Physical Capabilities
  • Ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled warehouse environment
  • Frequent walking, standing, bending, and monitoring warehouse operations throughout the shift
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
  • Ability to safely navigate warehouse equipment, inventory storage areas, and shipping docks
