Job summary

Opti Staffing Group is seeking a Warehouse/Delivery Technician for a Tigard, OR location. The role involves receiving and storing materials, preparing and delivering rugs and carpets, and maintaining showroom and warehouse spaces.

Qualifications

• Clean driving record and ability to operate a forklift safely.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Organized, reliable, and able to work independently.
• Comfortable handling loading/unloading and showroom support.

Responsibilities

• Receive and store materials in the warehouse.
• Prepare and deliver products including rugs and carpets.
• Maintain building and showroom cleanliness.
• Complete written work orders and inventory checks.
• Operate a forklift safely and assist installers/showroom staff.
• Provide high-quality customer service during client interactions.
• Maintain exterior and interior cleanliness of facilities and vehicles.
• Load carpet and padding for installers and assist with showroom demonstrations.
• Perform preventive maintenance on the company van and arrange repairs as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Warehouse/Delivery Technician

Pay:

$23/hr

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

What You’ll Do:

• Receive and store materials within the warehouse.
• Prepare and deliver products, including rugs and carpets.
• Maintain building and property cleanliness.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.
• Complete written work orders, including cutting padding and carpeting.
• Receive and inspect incoming merchandise.
• Operate a forklift
• Assist salespeople with showing rugs in the showroom and in the home.
• Provide a high level of customer service through direct contact with clients.
• Maintain cleanliness of the exterior of the building, grounds, and vehicles.
• Load carpet and pad for installers.
• Maintain cleanliness of the interior of the building, including the warehouse, showroom, and bathrooms.
• Maintain van by completing preventive maintenance requirements and arranging for repairs.
• Perform inventory controls.
• Assist with the Cash & Carry cleaning department.
• Other duties as assigned.
