Job summary

Trane Technologies in Livonia is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations and ensure timely deliveries to customers. This is a first-shift, Monday–Friday role with occasional Saturdays based on business needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous warehouse experience required.
• Experience operating power industrial vehicles, such as a forklift, required.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required.
• Ability to safely operate a stake truck or similar delivery vehicle for local customer deliveries.
• Previous delivery driving experience preferred, especially with local routes and material transport.
• Ability to load, secure, transport, and unload materials safely.
• Commitment to safety and ability to follow through on commitments and details.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers at delivery locations.
• Proven team player

Responsibilities

• Serve as a reliable point of contact for warehouse movement, customer interactions, and local transportation coordination.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments and freight accurately and efficiently.
• Receive, stock, organize, and maintain inventory to support smooth warehouse operations.
• Load and unload freight using power industrial vehicles such as forklifts, while maintaining equipment in safe working condition.
• Drive a stake truck to complete local customer deliveries in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
• Verify delivery loads for accuracy, secure materials properly, and complete deliveries according to company procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service during delivery and warehouse interactions.
• Maintain office and warehouse supplies required for effective day-to-day operation.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements in warehouse and delivery activities.
• Maintain flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as required.
