Job summary

Rexel USA in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Warehouse Associate/Truck Driver I to efficiently fill customer orders, receive and stock materials, and prepare shipments. The role combines warehouse tasks with up to 50% delivery driving, operating forklift, reach truck, and other equipment as needed.

No CDL required. The position starts early morning and emphasizes safety, adherence to DOT rules, and accurate inventory.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• Prior warehouse experience a plus.
• Certification to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass a pre-employment and annual review of the Motor Vehicle Record.
• Must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate as required by law within 30 days of hire.
• Must not have had a suspended driver's license for a traffic accident/violation within the past 3 years.
• Must not have any at fault accidents in the past 3 years.
• High School or GED - Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work Hours: 6am - 2pm.
• Receive material and verify quantities against packing lists.
• Stock, stage, and prepare branch orders for shipping.
• Process paperwork for shipments and ensure accurate labeling.
• Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other equipment as required.
• Load common carriers and company vehicles for deliveries.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance.
• Conduct inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Deliver products to customers and company sites as needed.
• Follow DOT and local driving regulations and maintain safe driving practices.
