Job summary

Crawford Electric Supply, part of the Sonepar group, is hiring for a full-time driver/delivery associate. You will transport and deliver electrical materials to customers and job sites, load and secure loads, verify counts, handle receipts and payments, and maintain logs and vehicle safety.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required and DOT physical may be needed.
• Six months or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Ensure good customer relations through on-time deliveries and professional conduct.
• Transport and deliver goods in a timely manner.
• Load material for orders, secure loads and manifest ship tickets.
• Verify freight count and condition and report variances as needed.
• Prepare receipts for pickups or deliveries and collect delivery charges.
• Maintain communication with manager for delivery instructions.
• Operate company vehicle safely and in compliance with DOT standards.
• Perform warehouse duties when not delivering and maintain clean work areas.
