Job summary

Rexel USA in Mount Vernon, WA is seeking a Warehouse Associate/Branch Driver I to join the Platt team. This role blends warehouse duties with delivery responsibilities, including loading, unloading, stocking, and preparing orders for shipment.

You will operate forklifts and delivery vehicles, follow safety rules including DOT regulations, and contribute to accurate inventory and efficient customer service.

Qualifications

• Must follow Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
• Experience with warehouse stocking and inventory control.
• Ability to operate forklifts and light delivery vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a culture focused on employee safety and a safe work environment.
• Follow SOPs, Environmental Health and Safety Rules, and address safety concerns.
• Receive material, verify quantity and description against packing lists.
• Maintain organized stocking and report damaged freight.
• Prepare branch orders and ensure correct product is shipped.
• Process shipment paperwork and ensure proper labeling and signing.
• Operate machinery including forklift, reach truck, and wire cutting machine when required.
• Load common carrier and company vehicles.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
• Conduct inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Operate delivery vehicles to customers and suppliers.
• Inspect company vehicle and complete daily inspection report.
• Keep vehicle clean and serviced; report repairs needed.
• Adhere to DOT and local driving laws.
• Load/unload materials for orders and verify accuracy and condition.
• May assist in preparing orders for delivery.
• Ensure delivery documentation is completed and signed by the customer.
