MacArthur Co. is a 100% Employee-Owned national distributor of building materials. The Warehouse & Delivery Driver role involves stocking and preparing orders for distribution to customers, with emphasis on safety and accuracy.

Work environment includes both inside and outside areas; team-focused with clear objectives and supervised routines. Benefits include ESOP, weekly pay, PTO and more. Location: West Valley City, Utah.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Qualified driving record and valid driver's license.
• Able to lift 40-70 pounds throughout the workday.
• Regular, reliable, predictable attendance.
• Flexibility to work overtime hours as needed.
• Follow safety expectations set by the company's safety policies.
• Extra consideration will be given to applicants with proven forklift material handling experience.
• Ability to work independently while supporting exceptional teamwork in a larger workgroup.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently & accurately organize & transport building materials using a variety of equipment.
• Follow a daily operations schedule, with an ability to adjust to customer needs.
• Banding, wrapping, or packaging material for shipping on commercial trucks & trailers.
• Organize and clean both the warehouse and yard work areas as needed.
• Attention to detail, with better-than-average accuracy in the quality of the work.
• Focus on working comfortably under close supervision within a stable, secure team.
• Decision-making within clear guidelines & with support of the fellow team & management.

As a Warehouse & Delivery Driver, you will execute operations by stocking & preparing orders of building materials for distribution to a network of customers. Customer service and team-oriented focus are of utmost importance. Your work environment will consist of both inside and outside work areas. Each type of loading and unloading requires strict attention to safety and accuracy of orders. This position requires well-defined, detailed work while producing repeatable and consistently accurate results. An ideal candidate will prefer a steady work style and enjoy executing clear objectives in a team-focused environment.
