Job summary

Midwest Hose & Specialty is seeking an Entry Level Warehouse Associate to assemble hoses, prepare orders, and support delivery readiness at our Fort Worth/Haltom City facility. You will use basic tools, manage inventory, and maintain safety and organization in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED, warehouse experience, and solid computer skills (Outlook, Excel). Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Prior warehouse experience required.
• Forklift experience preferred but not required.
• Additional power equipment experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to meet physical demands typical in a warehouse environment including heavy lifting and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assemble hoses and components according to instructions and parts lists.
• Prepare work by gathering parts, sub-assemblies, and materials.
• Select and use proper tools such as saws, crimpers, tape measures, and calipers.
• Assemble components and verify correct connections and fit.
• Identify proper parts for varied hoses and manage order picking.
• Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
• Maintain inventory control on proprietary products and keep the workspace safe and clean.
• Support delivery readiness by preparing hoses for shipment.

Overview

Level: Entry | Location: Fort Worth, TX (Haltom City, TX 76117)

Deliver and pick up local products pulling a 20’ trailer. Must be able to haul a trailer (CDL not required). Enhance customer satisfaction, meet sales and profitability goals, assemble industrial hoses, ensure quality of finished products, manage supply chain of products.

Responsibilities

• Hose assembly process
• Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, and parts lists; gather parts, sub-assemblies, and materials
• Select and use proper tools and equipment for each task such as saws, crimpers, tape measures, and calipers
• Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and sub-assemblies
• Identify and select proper parts to assemble a wide variety of hoses
• Document actions by completing production and quality forms
• Coil hose as required to prepare for delivery to the customer
• Provide inventory control on proprietary products and components
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Maintain professionalism in the workplace
• Perform any other assigned proprietary duties

• Solid computer skills such as typing and navigation through various computer programs including MS Outlook, Excel, and Windows

• Assist in lifting, pushing, and/or pulling up to 50 lbs. in adherence with Midwest Hose Safety Standards; receiving unloads up to 100%; order pulling up to 100%
• Must be able to meet the physical demands typical in a warehouse environment including but not limited to grasping and fine manipulations with hands, reaching, squatting, climbing, activities working around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, exposure to light dust and fumes

Education and Experience

• High School diploma or GED (required)
• Prior warehouse experience (required)
• Forklift experience (preferred but not required)
• Additional power equipment experience (preferred but not required)
