Job summary

Loenbro in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Delivery Driver to transport materials, supplies, tools and equipment to our job sites. The role includes picking up designated materials and loading/unloading as needed, with an emphasis on safety and reliability in a fast-paced environment.

Our Delivery Driver will deliver all materials, supplies, tools and equipment to our jobsite. Will pick up designated material and supplies.

Essential Functions

• knowledge of construction materials: two (2) years required
• Must possess ability to work outdoors, in the elements
• Ability to fulfill physical requirements
• Lift/move product up to seventy-five (75) pounds or greater
• Must be able to lift heavy weight with, and without the aid of others
• Customer service skills
• Interact with coworkers and customers in a professional, demanding environment to ensure customer needs are met while building a strong working relationship with a positive attitude

Education

• Two (2) years’ experience with High School Diploma/GED
• A valid driver’s license
• Must have an acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR)
• Forklift certification

Experience

• Experience in material handling
• Must have experience driving larger sized delivery trucks
• Must have knowledge of regulations pertaining to the securing of several types of loads onto trucks

Knowledge And Skills

• Ability to wear appropriate work attire (safety helmet, footwear-steel toed shoes, gloves, safety vest)
• Understand the construction process, specifically electrical construction, including materials, parts, tools, and assemblies
• Demonstrate ability to be self-motivated, proactive and perform duties in a professional manner and appearance
• Strong critical thinking skills
• Must be able to pass Federal/State/City Background check
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Pre-Employment and Random Drug Test Compliance
