Job summary

Loenbro, LLC is seeking an Equipment and Materials Driver for Franklin, TN, on-site. The role involves safely transporting electrical materials between warehouse, suppliers, and job locations, with emphasis on loading/unloading and daily vehicle maintenance.

Responsibilities include completing log books, submitting fleet reports, and performing ad hoc tasks as needed. The position is full-time and non-exempt, with benefits and a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Six months experience driving/transporting materials.
• Experience pulling trailers.
• Must be at least 21 years of age with a HS diploma or GED.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload trucks.

• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.

Job Summary
The Equipment and Materials Driver is responsible for safely transporting electrical materials to and from warehouse, suppliers, and job locations.

• Safely perform and direct the loading and unloading of trucks
• Transport electrical materials in a safe, responsible manner
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and communicate any problems and standard maintenance with your vehicle
• Understand and complete the log book
• Submit monthly vehicle reports to fleet
• Perform additional ad hoc responsibilities as assigned including but not limited to various office and warehouse/yard projects

Minimum Qualifications

Required:

• Have at least six months experience driving/transporting materials
• Have experience pulling trailers
• Be at least 21 years of age with a High School diploma or GED
• Have a clean Motor Vehicle Record

Preferred:

• Exercise independent judgment and be motivated to grow and develop professionally
• Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem solving and customer service skills

• Outside most of the time.
• Potential exposure to extreme cold and hot temperatures
• Limited working surfaces
• Exposure to noise above 85 decibels and intense odors
• Exposure to areas with limited visibility
• Climbing up and down stairs and ladders to both get in and out of trenches and up to elevated platforms (scaffolding at significant heights)
• Lifting necessary equipment and materials 1-50 pounds, 50% of the time monthly for required tasks
• If driving is required, a valid driver’s license and proof of insurability is required. All drivers are subject to a DMV background records search.
