Job summary

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• Prior warehouse experience a plus.
• Certification to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass pre-employment and annual review of the Motor Vehicle Record.
• Must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate as required by law within 30 days of hire.
• Must not have had a suspended driver's license for a traffic accident/violation within the past 3 years.
• Must not have any at fault accidents in the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a culture focused on employee safety and a safe work environment.
• Follow SOPs and Environmental Health and Safety rules; address safety concerns.
• Receive material from vendors/customers and verify quantity/description against packing lists.
• Keep incoming orders stocked and report freight damage claims.
• Prepare branch orders from the warehouse and ensure correct product is shipped.
• Process shipment paperwork and verify correct merchandise and labels.
• Operate equipment like forklift/reach truck once required.
• Load carrier and company vehicles.
