Job summary

Amarr, part of ASSA ABLOY, is hiring a warehouse associate in Columbus, GA. This is a physically demanding role with heavy lifting in a non-climate controlled environment.

You will unload, inspect, stage, and load product, provide deliveries as needed, and assist with inventory while delivering excellent service. A valid driver’s license and English proficiency per DOT guidelines are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Requires heavy repetitive lifting (50-75 lb) and constant movement.
• Must pass DOT requirements including physicals, background screening, and MVR.
• Must read and speak English per DOT guidelines.
• Demonstrated history of steady employment.

Responsibilities

• Unload and inspect incoming product (50-75 lb) mostly by hand.
• Pull, stage, and load product for customers with excellent service.
• Provide deliveries in a 26' box truck as needed.
• Assist with inventory and damage control.
