Job summary

Amarr, part of ASSA ABLOY, is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Birmingham, AL. This is a physically demanding role with heavy lifting in a non-climate controlled environment. You will unload and inspect products, stage and load for customers, and occasionally deliver in a 26' box truck.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license.
• At least one year of driving experience.
• Requires heavy repetitive lifting (50-75 lb) and constant movement.
• Must be able to pass DOT requirements, including physical, background screening, and MVR.
• Must be able to read and speak English.
• Demonstrated history of steady employment.

Responsibilities

• Unload and inspect incoming product (50-75 lb by hand).
• Pull, stage, and load product for customers while delivering excellent service.
• Provide deliveries in a 26' box truck as needed.
• Assist with inventory and damage control.
