Job summary

Rexel USA, operating under the Platt Electric Supply banner in Redmond, OR, is seeking a Warehouse Associate/Branch Driver I to efficiently fill customer orders, receive, stock, and ship materials while upholding safety and accuracy.

The role includes operating forklifts and delivery vehicles (no CDL required), performing inventory, and supporting branch duties. A valid driver's license is required; DOT compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• No experience required
• Prior warehouse experience a plus
• Certification to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment preferred
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must pass a pre-employment and annual Motor Vehicle Record review
• Must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate as required by law within 30 days of hire
• Must not have had a suspended driver's license for a traffic accident/violation within the past 3 years
• Must not have any at fault accidents in the past 3 years
• High School or GED - Preferred

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a culture focused on employee safety and a safe work environment
• Receive material and verify quantities against packing lists
• Keep incoming orders stocked and report freight damage claims
• Prepare branch orders and ensure correct product shipping
• Process shipments paperwork and verify accuracy
• Operate forklift, reach truck, and wire cutting machine as required
• Load common carrier and company vehicles
• Perform basic equipment maintenance and inspections
• Conduct inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
• Operate delivery vehicles to customers, branches, and suppliers
• Maintain daily vehicle inspections and cleanliness
• Follow DOT, local and state driving laws
• Assist in preparing orders for delivery
• Ensure delivery documentation is completed and signed
• Pickup material returns and inspect condition
• Pickup material from suppliers
• Mentor entry-level drivers and provide coaching
• May assist in counter sales and customer support
