Job Title: Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver

Full Job Description

Salary: $19 - $21 per hour

Start Time: 7am

Company: Ewing Outdoor Supply is seeking a customer service-oriented Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver at our Smyrna, GA location. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and safety, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced distribution environment, prioritizing service to contractors and customers.

This role involves both delivery and warehouse duties, requiring the ability to lift 50-70 lbs. We also aim to develop your skills and product knowledge for potential growth into sales roles.

Experience in the green industry or landscaping is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus but not required. We value the right team fit above all.

Responsibilities

• Engage actively with customers
• Greet and direct customers
• Deliver items to various addresses and routes
• Follow routes and schedules
• Operate and inspect delivery vehicles
• Inform customers about products and services
• Adhere to DOT regulations and safety standards
• Ensure racks are stocked
• Coordinate with team for excellent customer service, especially during peak times
• Provide product information, answer questions, and facilitate sales
• Gather customer feedback for management
• Stay updated on new products and services

• Customer-focused with adaptability to different customer personalities
• Effective multi-tasking, prioritization, and time management skills
• Basic math skills
• Ability to lift 50-70 lbs
• Excellent communication skills and relationship-building
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments

• Valid driver’s license
• Strong organizational skills and time management
• Clean driving record

• Preferred qualifications:
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Experience operating forklifts and tractors (training available)
• Previous experience in customer service or sales roles
• Knowledge of inventory procedures
