Job summary

The Fountain Group is seeking a Warehouse & Delivery Associate for a prominent client in North Chicago, IL. This 3-month assignment pays $20/hour to start and is onsite with Mon-Fri work hours from 7:30am to 4:00pm EST.

Responsibilities include receiving and verifying mail, routing packages, processing pickups, preparing pallets, operating MHE, delivering to stops, and SAP PO processing. A High School diploma is required and a valid driver's license is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with mail/order processing and SAP is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform extensive walking/standing.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify incoming mail and packages against packing slips.
• Research and reroute misdirected mail and packages using computer systems.
• Process internal pickup requests, rush deliveries, returns, and package movements.
• Prepare pallets, sort freight manifests, and move shipments to dock staging areas.
• Operate material handling equipment to transport packages.
• Deliver mail and packages to designated customers and stops.
• Investigate and document shipment discrepancies.
• Maintain dock and package staging areas and support mail center operations.
• Close purchase orders in SAP when required.

We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Warehouse & Delivery Associate for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in North Chicago, IL 60085.

Job Details

• Pay: $20/hr to Start!!
• 3-month assignment (through end of year), possibility for extension based on performance and budget.
• Monday-Friday: 7:30am - 4:00pm EST.(Onsite)
• Position will be mainly responsible for resolving customer requests, questions and complaints frequently requiring analysis of situations to determine the best use of resources.
• This position will be responsible for maintaining statistics for departmental reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and verify incoming mail and packages against packing slips and process receipts in the receiving system.
