Job summary

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Warehouse Associate in Chicago, IL. The role includes picking orders, preparing goods for transport, and operating forklifts. Starting pay is $20/hour with a full benefits package and a Monday-Thursday schedule.

The candidate should have 1 year of sit-down/stand-up forklift experience, be able to use a Standup Walkie Rider, and possess strong communication and teamwork skills. GMP/SQF/USDA or FDA familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Picking orders accurately and in a timely manner.

• Move goods from storage to loading areas for transport.
• Consolidate partial pallets for incoming goods and label for shipment.

HIRING IMMEDIATELY: WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE IN CHICAGO, IL

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Warehouse Associate to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. This individual will be responsible for picking orders and preparing goods to be moved by placing material on pallets and wrapping. The ideal candidate will possess 1 year of Sit-down and Stand-up forklift experience, ability to use Standup Walkie Rider, and more listed below.

Pay, Schedule, and Location

• Starting at $20/hour
• Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
• 7:30am – 6:00pm, Monday – Thursday
• Located in Chicago, Illinois

Duties and Responsibilities

• Picking orders accurately and in a timely manner using a manual pallet jack and stacking full cases on pallets, ensuring damaged cases are accounted for and the required paperwork is completed
• Picking FIFO must be sustained to correctly pick oldest to newest. Compliance with following proper lot code rotation a must
• Maintaining a clean and organized Warehouse
• Properly recording open and/or damaged cases and storing properly
• Safely stacking and unstacking goods onto shelves or pallets.
• Moving goods from storage areas to loading areas for transport.
• Consolidating partial pallets for incoming goods and properly labeling for shipment

Requirements and Qualifications

• 1 year of Sit-down and Stand-up forklift experience
• Ability to use Standup Walkie Rider a plus
• 1 year in a warehouse setting, picking experience a plus
• Computer literate (Excel and Word), MRP systems a plus
• Excellent interactive and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Familiar with GMP’s, SQF, USDA or FDA and Safety Standards
• Able to communicate with other team members and supervisor
• Ability to efficiently work independently
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills with a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
