Job summary

Capital Electric, a division of the Sonepar group, is hiring a 1st Shift Warehouse Associate (MHE) at our Upper Marlboro, MD site. You will prepare customer orders for pickup, unload and load transfer trucks, verify stock, and maintain an organized warehouse to support being the electrical distributor of choice in the region.

The role requires forklift certification and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Pull stock and organize customer orders.
• Pull and cut wire as needed.
• Unload and load CLS transfer trucks with or without forklift.
• Check, record, and stock material accurately.
• Handle will call items and keep the warehouse organized.
• Support other associates and follow instructions with minimal supervision.
• Be on time and work diligently alone or with others.
• Prioritize tasks and multitask throughout the day.
• Perform other duties as required.

Capital Electric has a 1st Shift Warehouse Assoc (MHE) position available at our Upper Marlboro, MD location. A Warehouse Associate for Capital Electric is responsible for getting customer orders ready for pick-up, unloading and loading of transfer trucks, properly checking in material, and keeping the warehouse stocked in an orderly fashion to help the branch maintain being the electrical distributor of choice in their area.

Responsibilities

• Pulling stock and organizing customer orders
• Pulling and cutting wire
• Unloading and loading of CLS transfer trucks with or without forklift
• Checking, recording, and putting up stock/material
• Will call
• Keep warehouse organized and clean
• Help other associates when needed
• Follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision
• Be on time and work diligently with co-workers or alone
• Multi-task and continually prioritize tasks to be completed throughout the day
• Other duties as required

Hourly Pay : $18 - $20

Requirements

• Must be flexible and able to multi-task on a regular basis
• Must have certification to operate heavy machinery like forklifts / pallet jacks
• Use of a forklift will be required.
